Engineering & System integration

The Engineering & System Integration department is the beating heart of the Company, where the ideas of our stakeholders take shape, are filtered by our engineers and transformed into concrete high-quality solutions.

It is a specialized department composed of several areas of expertise. These include Professionals in Materials Research and Analysis, CAD Design and Simulations, Mechanical and Electronic Design, for the development of Complex Systems.

Beyond the expertise and vast experience accumulated over the years, what distinguishes the excellence of this department is above all the synergy between the parts. Managed and coordinated with a risk-based thinking approach, compliance with the two main requirements is achieved: on time (on time) and compliance with requirements (on quality).

FEM Analyses

FEM Structural Analyses (finite element method) allow the structural behavior of a system to be calculated.

Especially in the aerospace industry, FEM analyses are important when one wants to perform analysis of complex structures or study engineeringly the behavior of mechanical systems and machines. From this, any displacements, deformations and stresses present in a structural system are derived.

FEM analysis is also representing a major step forward for modern engineering. Today, through the aid of FEM calculations, it is possible to design structures and machines that were unthinkable until recently.

Fluid Dynamics Analyses

Numerical Fluid Dynamics CFD Analyses allows the fluid dynamic behavior of a system to be calculated. It is the most advanced tool available to engineers to be able to analyze fluid physics and its application. All with the aim of creating better performing products.

Through CFD analysis techniques, it is possible to improve products, cut costs, optimize efficiency and probe phenomena that would otherwise be difficult to observe. They are indispensable when you want to optimize the fluid dynamic behavior of a machine, component or any device. Especially when characterized by fluid motion and/or heat transfer.

Electronic circuit design

RAIT88 is also involved in custom electronic circuit design. Therefore, thanks to our decades of experience and the tools at our disposal, we can make electronic devices, custom circuits or specific designs according to customer requirements.

Drawing of the circuit diagram, study of the master PCB, Prototyping, Realization and Testing of the boards, characterization and industrialization are the typical activities of a project.

All design phases are also developed in close contact with the customer (Design Review) from an industrial product perspective.
