Who we are

RAIT88 was founded in 1988 by the Calabrò family with the goal of providing products and services to companies in the professional electronics industry.

PROFESSIONAL ELECTRONICS

The investment of resources in the activities of design, reverse engineering and the industrialization of electronic systems, combined with the activities of equipment maintenance and repair, has enabled the creation of a structured and efficient Professional Italian Center of Excellence.

Since 2019, RAIT88 has officially joined the 40 strategic suppliers chosen to participate in the Elite Leonardo Lounge program.

In the same year, thanks to the commitment and seriousness that have always distinguished the Company's ethics, RAIT88 was awarded during the ceremony of "Le Fonti Awards®" : Excellence of the Year Innovation & Leadership Health Information Systems and Excellence of the Year Innovation & Leadership Electronic Supply Chain.

Award received again in 2020 for confirming the level of excellence in the field of supplying goods and services to companies in the professional electronic sector and for embarking on an innovative, high-tech path with the challenging goal of supporting the country system.

RAIT88 is Defense Engineering Center on: Obsolescence Design, Integration, Repair, Management and Solution.

Thanks to the passion as well as the resilient spirit of the Calabrò family, RAIT88 has become the only company in Italy to work in the absence of documentation by providing FFF (Form Fit Function) products.

As of January 1, 2020, RAIT88, thanks to its achievements and the guarantees given by its quality certificates (EN 9100, EN 9120, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), consolidates itself as a supplier at NATO, opens its new Robotics and Virtual Reality divisions, and starts participating in PNRMs in the Defense field.

History

  • Foundation
    When it was first founded, the company had a commercial structure specializing in paints, abrasives and metal alloys.
  • Electronics and Circuits
    The company's first market breakthrough occurred in 1988, when its commercial focus shifted to the electronics and printed circuit board sectors.
  • Solutions to Obsolescence
    The experience gained over the years, selling and researching electronic components, has led the company to address obsolescence problems and to develop solutions in this field.
  • Aerospace
    The beginning of the new millennium marked the birth of Labtronik S.r.l. and the entry of RAIT88 into the aerospace sector, thus expanding its offering to include complex electronic assemblies.
  • Smart Storage
    The purchase of a Smart Storage (electronics cabinet) highlights the company's intentions to invest heavily in the Mechanical and Obsolescence Management and Monitoring sectors.

    Robotics, VR
    Through the merger with Labtronik, RAIT88 becomes a leading hub in the fields of Robotics, Virtual Reality, and Artificial Intelligence, participating in national and international calls for proposals from the MOD and MUR.
